Andreas Rimpel wohnt und arbeitet am bayerischen Untermain. Seine handwerklich-technische Begabung nutzte er beruflich in der Metallbranche als technischer Entwickler ebenso wie im künstlerischen Bereich.

Inspiriert vom Bauhaus und Kubismus malte er viele Jahre in Öl, zunächst im Kleinformat, später großformatig. 

 

Um die Jahrtausendwende begann er, sich mit Skulpturen zu beschäftigen, weil deren Dreidimensionalität ganz andere Ausdrucksformen der menschlichen Gefühlswelt zulässt, die den Künstler mit zunehmendem Alter immer mehr beschäftigt.

 

Der Entwicklungsprozess hat einen hohen Stellenwert für ihn. Die Umsetzung vom facettenreichen und detaillierten Grundgedanken hin zur harmonischen Vereinfachung ist eine wichtige Komponente der entstandenen Kunstwerke. 

 

Andreas Rimpel lives and works in Bavaria, Germany. He creates his artwork using his talent and technical experience as a developer and manufacturer of couplings for machines and robots. This knowledge and craftsmanship as well as intuition and power of observation are the foundation of his artwork.

 

In the early stages of his artwork he created small and large paintings in oil, inspired by Bauhaus and Cubism. Around the year 2000 he started to sculpt.

 

Growing older human feelings are more and more in his focus. To transport these expressions he used the three-dimensionality of sculpting in his unique manner.

 

The developmental process has a high priority in his work. During the artistic process he skillfully reduces the divers feelings of mankind to portray the core of emotions.
